It’s hard not to love Zach Condon. Really, the guy just serves up some of the sweetest music in a simple, timeless way and then you remember that he’s 23 and from New Mexico. What could that kid know about timeless folk music? Well he spent some time in Europe where he picked up a few things, including the French language and the Balkan folk style popular with many young Parisians at the time. In this video, we get to hear one of my favourites of his perfomed in a near hip-hop style (a nod to his generation) and with trumpet, accordian and violin accompaniment (a nod to Paris).
