One more thing: it’s been annoying me all day.  The fact that Andy, my co-worker chooses the music on the stereo that blasts in the office doesn’t bother me.  Nor does the idea that sometimes he puts on a great selection (one day I’ll make a muxtape called “The Office Agrees Mix” featuring all things that we HANDS DOWN agree rule — i.e. Andrew W.K.) and other times I wave my hands at the stereo in protest and ask, “What is THIS we’re reluctantly tolerating?”.

What makes me crazy is when he puts on a band that I’m only lukewarm about or that I like one or two songs off one album and suddenly, that one song is stuck in my head.   Uggh.  Such is the case with Broken Social Scene.  There’s a few songs here and there (Lover’s Spit anyone?) and a few songs by their spin-offs (Stars, Feist, Emily, etc.) and a few covers I don’t much hate.  But there’s no singular full album I love with the exception of Feist’s Let It Die record, I could play that ENDLESSLY (Reminder - not so much).  That being said, every time Andy puts on their self-titled record, I’m loathe to admit that sooner or later 7/4 (Shoreline) is going to come on and it’s going to get stuck in my head for hours.  Dammit Andy.

Now at least, you’ll all suffer with me.
