From Rockinsider.com:
My AMP was stolen :(
So last night I parked in the lot near The Echo for 15 minutes to run and meet a friend. I came back to find my car unlocked and tossed.
Instantly my heart starting racing because I knew my gear was in the trunk. Sure enough I popped the trunk to find my Amplifier - GONE.
The dirty rotten thieves also stole about 40 bucks in cash and a vintage camera but miraculously missed my microkorg and boss pedal that were hidden under the passenger seat. Don’t worry my car is fine, no broken windows. I could have SWORN I locked my car which leads me to believe the lock was jimmied.
Total loss was about $600 worth of stuff. so friends I’m enlisting your help.
If you see the following amp in any east side pawnshops or on craigslist or ebay PLEASE email me immediately at jax@rockinsider.com.
It’s a limited edition Ampeg anniversary series combo 115 amp with a silver vintage mesh cloth. View it online here. They were only manufactured in Europe so it is rare to find them out here in LA. The silver mesh cloth is the dead giveaway I had to drive to Ventura just to buy this one!
The amp goes by the name “Samuel L. Ampeg” and has served me well for the last two years. As much as I hated lifting that thing I loved it and would love to have it back!!
