Sunny Day Sets Fire - Stranger
YouTube has been the bane of my existence for the last 24 hours but FINALLY decided to work with me so I could bring you a few gems from the great show I went to on Sunday night. First up is Sunny Day Sets Fire. I caught the set right on time thanks to a text from my pal Paul and was grateful to be among the witnesses in the room to catch the band’s first US show! Like the band said, “Like the Sex Pistols, you can say you were one of the 30 people in the room” and I am thrilled to have been among the lucky ones. Tonight the band plays Spaceland (we think there’ll be more than 30 this time) and some local favourites: In Waves, Line & Circle and The Monolators will be on the bill as well. This show is not to be missed!
